October 18, 2011 - Put a Smile On My Face

I received this video on my phone from Madison's therapist at The Center.   Absolutely LOVED watching this while I was at work...  It sure put a smile on my face!

  2. From all your writings, and now from this amazing video, we all learn what a Mother's incredible love and determination for a child can achieve. Madison's reactions and sounds towards this therapist appears to be no different than the reactions and sounds one would see from any child with the same stimulus. Madison is so gifted to have been born with a truly amazing set of parents. Keep up the good work, we love you guys!!!

  3. Hi there, I just found your blog through a mutual one that we both follow. Our story is very similar to yours, as my daughter was diagnosed with profound hearing loss at a very young age and was bilaterally implanted before she was 9 months old. She is 19 months old now and on the same level with hearing children. Feek free to check out my blog at http://sophiasjourneytohear.blogspot.com/. Reading about Madison has brought back many memories of our hearing aid days before she was implanted. Good luck as you embark upon this journey!
